Three-time NCAA Division I All-American Brandon Precin will be joining the Overtime School of Wrestling staff this spring. Brandon will be working primarily at the Cary location, where the coaching staff is anchored by Donny Reynolds.
Precin, a two-time Midlands Champion, will also be training with the Overtime coaches this spring as he attempts to qualify for the 2011 US World Team in Oklahoma City this June at the 55kg weight class in men's freestyle wrestling.
Precin was a four-year starter for the Wildcats. After taking seventh place at NCAA Division I National Championships his sophomore season, Brandon finished his NCAA wrestling career with back-to-back third place finishes. He also took second place at the Big Ten National Championships in his final two seasons.
Prior to wrestling for Northwestern, Brandon wrestled for the Overtime School of Wrestling. He won a pair of IHSA high school state championships in folkstyle wrestling for Carl Sandburg High School . He was also a three-time freestyle state champion and a three-time FILA Cadet All-American in freestyle wrestling.
A member of the National Honor Society in high school, Precin went on to become a National Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-American while at Northwestern University .
